Older Dells only By AD1WULCD8EOUT on 2008-08-11
I assume the adapter probably works fine, however even though it says it is Dell compatible - the Dell connector is the old style connector that Dell has not used for years. If you are looking for a replacement for a Dell PA-10 or PA-12 power supply (what most Dell laptops have used since 2006 or earlier) this item does not have the correct plug.
Extreme RFI levels radiated - No good for ham radio ops By A3HHRRVRF7OLCJ on 2009-12-16
The device functions as it should, however the design spec for the converter circuit is so cheaply implemented that there is an extreme amount of radio frequency noise radiated from this device.
I had intended on using this to power an Atom computer from a DC supply I run for a pile of radio equipment so it would be on instant battery backup.
The RFI radiation level was so high it made using any of my transmitter and receiver equipment pretty much impossible. This circuit must use a pulse width modulation IC and it's horribly designed and unshielded.
80 Watt Universal Laptop Notebook Auto/Air/car Power Adapter By A32S8N3NNLVH6C on 2009-06-29
If you use your laptop in the car, this is the way to go. Great little device for many different laptops or notebooks. Since it's DC, very low power draw and doesn't get hot. No fan so it's dead silent. My only complaint is that 2 days after I got mine the price came down $3.00. Now it's an even better deal.
Good maybe , not for HP G60 though By A1DO54K1V6GUK3 on 2009-09-14
Has a lot of choices, but maybe the HP N60 from Circuit City was too recent a model...none of the plugs fit. Item was accepted back with no argument by vendor.
