  • The Littlest Sparklepeen: AKA vampires do show up on film

    By AFPBAGYKVN6RG on 2009-09-12
While some might find his brooding, lack of knee articulation thwarting truly they are amongst The Littlest Sparklepeen's greatest assets. His ability to stand up straight yet tilt his head at such a discerning, disappointed with humanity angle is to be admired. The rotational joints in his hands and two points of articulation in his arms allow him to hold a variety of objects and throw his hands up in consternation at the futility of life and his perpetual existence at the age of seventeen and a respectable, but not astounding, height of seven inches. From the highlighted points of his tousled hair to the proportionally massive size of his oxfords, reminding one that 'proportionally' he is quite impressive, The Littlest Sparklepeen serves to remind us all that it is only through quiet reflection, and documentation, of our lives that we can truly appreciate the gift that is life. He is able to effortlessly insert himself into any social obligation or photograph thereof, serving as a constant benchmark of the passing of your life. To quote the great internet adage, "pics or it didn't happen" it is important that we all record our lives for the future on film or the digital equivalent. Allowing The Littlest Sparklepeen to steal the show as it were in your documentation will not only amuse you, tweenage girls, and your adult friends who find your existence pathetic and futile but it will remind you, at all times, that there is nothing better than living a long and happy life with The Littlest Sparklepeen.

  • Nice, but not exceptional

    By ASDTWR3ZN0K4Y on 2009-02-18
I bought this for my daughter as she is an avid Twilight fan, and because they aren't any real collectibles of this type out there in the market yet. It's nice and she liked it, but it does not look very much like Edward from the movie. If you're collecting whatever you can get your hands on, then it's good, but if you're looking for screen accuracy and exceptional detail, then I would suggest possible passing on the item.

  • My very own Edward!!

    By A3254HYPWSLY3K on 2009-06-24
I love this doll, hubby bought it for me not here on Amazon but at FYE an entertainment store in the mall... now I can carry Edward/Rob around with me anywhere I wish, right now he sits in his box and watches me at the computer as I check twihard updates and drool over the real Rob, hope hes not jealous much!! LOL

  • My very own Pocket Edward

    By A2S1TBN7T7HWRU on 2009-11-16
While he is not an exact replica of my beloved Edward Cullen. He comes pretty close. I ripped him from the package and a smile immediately graced my lips. He can be posed, with fully functioning arm movement and he stands on his own. The clothes have a wonderful likeness to the real Edward (his coat actually comes open!) and while he does have a permanent scowl on his face, it is a look that we can all grow to love. (It happened quickly for me.)This is a great piece of Twilight memorabilia and I can't wait to take him out and get some pics of our world travels. Yeah, I'm a dork like that!

  • Personal Edward!

At first I didn't want to get this, I felt that maybe that would be taking it too far. But I so couldn't help it. He's just so cute!!! It's your very own personal Edward! It's such a great toy and it actually looks like Rob! I can't wait for Alice! Also, I am on staff at www.TwilightersAnonymous.com, the best and most comprehensive Twilight community around; for those of us who are truly addicted to Twilight. • Apparently, Edward reads mings
    By ABMPNHNG7BLNU on 2009-02-27
    Who knew?

I picked this up from Borders today as a gag gift for a friend. The typo in the "abilities" section ("ming" reading instead of "mind" reading) made me laugh so hard, I had to get it. Seems like typos are not only abundant in the books, but also in the merchandise. Way to go, Reel Toys.

As for the figure itself, it's clearly mass-produced and not terribly high quality. The paint in particular is pretty bad, with brown from the hair leeching onto the forehead and spots of darker color specking around the outside of the lips. Since it's for someone else, I haven't taken it out of the box, so I can't really comment on how well the joints move, but from the look of it, the arms are jointed at the shoulder and elbow, but the legs aren't jointed at all. He can wave, but not walk.

I think if you're looking for a toy for a kid to actually play with, this is probably fine. If you're looking for a collectors' item, wait for something else. Unless, of course, they fix the typo on the back, then it might be considered a collectible. Until then, it's just funny packaging on a crappy doll.

  • Love it, but they should do their research on the spelling...
    By A2NON94M8WBNWF on 2009-03-26
So, my husband endured embarrassment to buy me this action figure as I am a collector of all things Twilight. Love it, but, they spelled his "real" last name wrong. Its M A S E N, not M A S O N. It really irritated me considering they are the official Twilight merchandiser. And no where in the books does it mention his middle name as Anthony. If they did, I certainly don't remember, but I have read all the books numerous times so I'm pretty sure about that. Its still a great collector's item, but I do wish they would fix that error with any future merchandise.

  • Great for a Collector-but not as a toy
    By AD4126TR4BNRB on 2009-02-04
This doll is pretty cheesy and not a great image of Edward...But as I am a HUGE Twilight Fan, I had to have it. I don't plan on taking it out of the box though. Bella should be coming out soon.

  • Pocket Edward
    By A1H5WZ3IE4CJKS on 2009-10-21
this item actually is not a toy. This edward is more life like and looks more like the character in the movie. The Barbie set of Edward and Bella, just look like Barbie and Ken dressed in Bella and Edward's clothing. i am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this product.

  • perfect for twilight fans
    By A3B8D7EIIUL6NA on 2009-05-03
Ok, while I'll admit it may not be the best toy for playing with, though I wouldn't say that from experience as my Edward hangs in his package on my wall. This is a great figurine for twilight fans. Yes there is a typo on the box, but I love the fact that they put Edwards stats on the side of the box! I am hoping to see the Bella figure alone soon and really hoping the company will make the entire cullen family.

I bought 2 of this Action figures. Gave as gift to my 2 daughters who celebrated their birthdays in March. I have one for myself in my room attached to the wall. Of course, they loved it. So did I.

  • A little Edward
    By A205BKR5YTHK53 on 2009-03-05
I gave this to my Twilight obssessed friend who loves it. By the way, she's married and nearly 40. It only makes sense if you've read Twilight.

  • Loved it
    By A17GWFS9BCTWF0 on 2009-02-27
I love that it came in good conditions. I've never bought anything online before and I don't regret it doing it.

  • It's Edward alright!
    By A2K79TN1XED0MJ on 2009-02-25
This is soooo cool. He looks like Edward and he is dressed like Edward. I keep him on my desk and work, and he gets all kinds of attention. I love this doll!! I now I hear that an Alice action figure is in the future! Okay, so it's not an educational toy.
